This book is a memoir of a woman deeply committed to environmental preservation. It would be no exaggeration to call her an Earth Harmony activist. Her name is Amanda Katili. I first met Dr. Katili a few years ago during a climate change meeting, where she spoke passionately and knowledgeably about environmental issues. Over time, through both domestic and international engagements—from village travels to global forums—I became convinced that Amanda truly lived her mission of protecting the Earth to maintain its harmony.
Her academic background perfectly aligns with her environmental activism. With a PhD from the School of Environment and Sustainability at the University of Michigan, an MSc in Ecology and Environmental Management from American University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the Bandung Institute of Technology, she is exceptionally well-prepared to advocate for the environment.
