KH. Abbas Muin, merupakan tipe kiai yang belakangan sudah mulai langka. Kiai yang tidak hanya mengajar dan mendidik santri, tapi juga mendampingi dan membimbing masyarakat bagi kemaslahatan dan kesejahteraan hidup mereka.
Maka saya dengan penuh syukur ikut menyambut terbitnya buku Mengenang KH Abbas Muin ini. Selain untuk mengenang kiprah keteladanan Almarhum, kiranya dapatlah juga menjadi ‘buku pelajaran’ bagi generasi muda, khususnya dari kalangan pesantren.
